well speaking of getting a good deal, one of my ls members bid 1.5 mil for haubergon and was able to buy. probaly was put up there for alot less or someone was quitting? i think that is alot like winning the lottery the gil he saved will be able to go for that 2nd snipers ring, currently 1 mil+ on midgar. glad i got mine for 600k

I had 6 million gil after fully liquidating all of my gear and everything on my mule, at level 61.

Always nice to get a surprise like that when someone overpays. Really, it's their own damn fault if they mess up like that, and they don't deserve to get anything back.

It's not like the fuma kyahan picture someone posted above where someone (more than likely) was deliberately trying to exploit somebody's mistake by bidding at 1/10 the price to see if they got it.

that's a good deal? last time i was on i think Haub was that much normally on Odin, hurray for cheap stuff

Can you remember or ask who the purchase was from? heh. When I sold mine few months ago I put it up for quite a bit less than it was up for just so someone would get a good deal. =)

Me? I fish, get to about a million, waste it on stupid shit (used like 500k to get my mule to 95 cooking so I can make sushi out of crap I fished out) and go back to 0, where I start back and get to a million again before I waste it on stupid shit.

It all depends on how much cash you believe is a 'good' amount to keep around you; as long as I got 20k or so I don't feel like there's a problem, so there's nothing wrong with going from a million to 0 (minus 7000 actually since I was short and borrowed some from a LS mate) just to buy some nifty feathered hat that doesn't really do anything too useful.

You're only level 42, you're not really a farming machine yet. The way these people make millions is that they do HNM runs and farm in high level areas. Don't worry. You'll get your turn to have a mil.

never had anything like that happen to me, but I know sometimes its not an accident. Sometimes someone with some cash decides to pick a random low priced AH item and throw a lot of gil at it and give someone a present ^^

I'm always for the honest road, but I give it a week. If they don't ask by then I wouldn't bother, and if they demand it, I'd give a big STFU to them for being dumb, but if they are polite and admit to making a mistake I'd give them what you deem as fair back to them.
