Higher Quality In-Game Graphics?

I remember awhile ago there were a thread or two floating aroudn Allaha and here about regedit toggling to increase the maximum output of FFXI's graphics. There was some graphic card tweaking involved to with Direct X.

Now before anyone says something about Rychiar's stickied post, I'm telling you, that's NOT it. That's for resolution. Can someone please link me to that post that had the indepth guide on how to enhance your graphics? Thanks.

Btw, if Rychiar's is the same as the one I'm talkin about, then forget it. But i'm 99% positive it's not.

This... is confusing me. Can you be any more specific? Because as stated, that could relate to any one of a whole ton of tweaks, including the Background Resolution Increase one.

there was once a webpage that showed more options to change values in the regedit. ive used it before, but then i had to reformat my PC but when i went to find the old page(which was actually somewhere in the sticky above) the page was already down

mostly directed to enhance directx performance

Wow... people can't read. I'm sorry I don't know the registry changes off hand, but I know the thread you are refering to, the guy documented the changes made by the FF Element Enhancement set. I think about two versions back the guy that makes the Tsunami set started charging for his reg edits -.-; I have an older version... somewhere. If I find it I will gladly post the regedits it makes.

yeah, i do remember a thread on Allakazham where some dude was charging for info or files that allowed you to enhance the graphics or something like that...i vaguely remember it, but the link might be in one of those threads that were referred to a few posts ago.

only new bit of information is the mip-mapping part and that's also somewhere in the thread.
