Im trying to stay calm, help please

Hello everyone, I dont know if this has happened for any of you, but this is getting me really worried. The character I have been working on since day one, the character with everything i have in the game on it, just somehow is not working. I froze up on a loading screen going from one area to another, and it just quit on me. I just tried to load him back up and it stays on the black screen with the noise of the waves in the background and wont load anything for 5 minutes until it gives me a message saying that i could not connect. As the subject says Im trying to stay calm but it is a little hard to. It is too late at night as well to contact service and support so I came here looking for some encouragement that my character might be alright. This can't be the end of Salurdan.....

Try reinstalling. Your character is fine, it's not serverside. It's definetely something to do with your PC.

i got the same thing, but it was cause of a firewall issue, i dunno about you though.

Reinstall the game. I had it happen to me about 5 times in last year or two. Playing from PS2, all you will lose are your macros and snapshots.

Alright, thanks for the replies....just one quick question....this is the first time I will have to do this, how will i go about re-installing the game or whatnot? Thank you

This sounds like a "You didn't register the expansion pack" issue, but then i noticed you're a SAM/WAR. So you have to have registered it otherwise you would have never made it to Norg, or unlock SAM Advanced job.

I play on PS2 as well. My only "problems" have been random freezes. I've had 2 or 3 total. The last one happened to me this past weekend, and I blame lag for at least part of it.

Was passing through a tunnel in Valkrum Dunes. I opend my Inventory (CTRL+i) just as 3 lizards spawned around me, and it froze. So I was sitting there with a blank Inventory screen up, and me walking through the tunnel. Was forced to reset my PS2 and get the "you didn't shutdown properly message, blah blah blah."

2 of my ls members had this problem, one just waited a day and tried again and it was fine, the other reinstalled it on his PC.
