That's SE's whole "experiment." To try and get the world on one big MMORPG and get them to interract and be nice to each other.

At anyrate, they're leaving it up to the players to fix the problem by cooperation. Similar to the last few big events that have been going on. The easter egg trading, the partnering up for yukatas, etc., etc.

Yes, the over abundance of people on this forum who forgot to bring their "reading glasses" and don't even READ the post and write something that either is completely wrong or unrelated. if you noticed the SS they only had 10 people fighting KB and 10 people cannot kill KB at all no way you wouldve died anyways...

I know this thread's a little old, but I thought this went well with it, so I was in Ordelle's and like should be expected I see a mnk botter, after losing like 38/40 times, I decide to call a GM, and I told her how Stroper was spawning claimed to his chi blast, and how I believed he was botting, she replied, "Your internet is slower than theirs."

I hate to revive this dead thread (ok no i don't), but what the GM said is partially true.... not only is chi blast faster than provoke (which I'm assuming you are using), the added 50-100ms latency can make it seem like the mob is spawning claimed.... no BOT can make a mob spawn claimed, its impossible. This topic has been thoroughly debated many times, and the bottom line is, if you are losing to a camper, you either need to rethink your camping method, or you need to get a turbo controller (or if you are on pc... =X )

Remember too that FFXI is Japanese run game. So GMs will most likely never do anything to Japenese LS.

Japanese decide how game will be played economy, NM, rules and so forth. I think SE put out prohibition on gil buying not because it was wrong but because NA playser were catching up with Japanese with high end items.
