yes, they only monopolize certain hnms such that they can control how many, if any, of certain hnm drops are available to other players. they do this moreso to give the impression that they are better than everyone else than for gil or any other reason. they never sold a single noble's tunic until GO got one, then they all of a sudden unloaded some of their large stock (filling up the empty AH history) since their leet-ness had been comprimised and they weren't the only ones on the server with them anymore.

I had a chat with GM-Alysan a while back when someone stole Serket from the group I was with. After ten minutes or so of frustration I asked him/her directly about claiming a mob that is engaged. It has been three weeks so I don't remember what he/she said word-for-word but it boils down to this. If a mob, be it an xp mob or a highly contested HNM, becomes yellow, for whatever reason, it is free game. It doesn't matter if it's down to 5% and you have a full alliance fighting it. If it goes yellow for even a fraction of a second, anyone is free to claim it. It sucks, but that's the official ruling for now.

Personally, I won't play like that. I have no problem with MPK'ing the thieves however.

LawDawg, while I agree with you that the Japanese GMs are pretty much useless, your use of the word "jap" is offending.

it means running around having a monster chase you (usually done so with gravity) while your team nukes it.

this same thing happenned over and over again even before the NA version was released. All GMs i've talked to said it's "part of player interaction" and they want "players to talk with other players and solve that problem themselves to encourage player interaction"

Not the GM that are useless really, but S-E itself need to acknowledge this problem and order their GM to coresspond.

It may not have been a big problem before when it was just JP competing with JP Lses for HNMs.

With English players comes language barrier and not every LS has a translator that can speak both jp/en fluently. I read some of the responses in the message boards and the board responses are very mixed, just like here.

SE needs to realize this has become a major problem and they need to step in to fix this. All this apathy is doing is adding more fuel to the fire. There needs to be major steps taken to fix these claim issues on big HNMs.

.....uh, your a noob? AF mobs are spawned mobs that are appear when a play meets a certain "quest" requirement and then triggers a certain ??? or other spot. These mobs are suppose to spawn claimed to the PT doing the quest and, if kill the PT, should disappear. Instead, I believe if the PT zones, the mob becomes unclaimed and then goes on a rampage in noobie zones like Ronafaure and Valkrum....
