they should really fix that unclaim bug thing, I believe it shouldnt go unclaimed unless everyone disengages, and I don't think it is a violation but I know that would sure piss me off if they did that to me..but it is true GMs cant do much about it, and even if they put them in a GM jail that wouldnt have got you KB back

What the other party did was spiteful, immature, and displays a certain lack of respect (kind of like that NIN who tried to MPK my party the other night while we were getting my LB1 paper by creating a huge train and Mijin Garuke in front of us...), but it's not the kind of thing I would expect a GM to get involved with.

You lost claim, which happens. The JP party took it, which happens. They called for help, which happens. When you put the three things together it's pretty obvious what was going on but there is no proof of their intent. That is the same reason I didn't call a GM when we had our incident with the NIN. As long as there is a possibility that he was trying to do something honest, like looking for the flame for Teleport Mea and getting attacked, like he said he was, there isn't much a GM will do.

Actually, you can definately report this to the GM. Thou shall not MPK is definately one rule in GM world.

I seriously think that you should gather evidence of how stupid/useless some of these GMs are. Yesterday i was told not to bother reporting bots any more because they know about the problem already.

Once you have got a log of all this, send it to someone high up in the chain, someone somewhere has to take notice after all this is a service that people pay for. If you are paying and not getting the service then something needs to be fixed.

out of curiosity, how do you know they were japanese? cos a few of them were typing in jp? ever since the ISO to jp POL client has been made available, everybody and their grandmother can type jp.

i apologize for taking this slight off topic. but it really bothers me when i see ppl say 'jps did this' and 'jps did that' when they have no other basis than what another person is capable of typing. almost everyone in my LS uses a JP client, and we're 99% HK.

regardless of who did it it's wrong. i don't see what the point in adding 'jp' or 'na' is.

actually i dont think 1 player out of 18 disengaging a hnm mob wil cause them to lose the claim. only time i seen claim lost was the party has not hit the mob, or caused enough hate it will go unclaimed. thus while a spamming ls can nab the mob.


but basically S.E has just been shooting there own feet on alot of issues within the game. thus why i have started to take certain aspects of ingame to my own codes of conduct an rules. no reason why i should be able to get attacked by an af monster while i am simply running to a pt in gustav tunnel. never did i engage them or any other monster. an have a gm not answer me if this is a glitch or is a fact in game.


another thing is the gil farmers that stand infront of you with the wyvern. 4 corners are open, an no matter what one i move to. they choose to stand right in front of me, asking them to not be selfish. an watching them not be polite. then only to hear a gm say they will look into it, but never do. how can you look into it with no name of the other player. and ummm hello mr gm it is harrassment. so after notta from a gm. my code of conduct came into play. haha SO THEN I STARTED MY MASS TRAIN ON HIS DRG BEHIND, ONLY TO CALL FOR HELP. AN ALT+ ESC WARP. while high evasion an blink kept me un hurt.. then when i entered the game again to see his ass died an delvled. with a fake sorry an a (/grin).

This si their job, they dont play for fun they are there to uphold the rules, now if they dont do anything becuase it is a know problem (boting) or they say they cant do anything (Issue with KB) it is because they have done all they can or there is nothing that they can do and if a GM says he will look into it but you hear nothing more from him...that means he has looked into it but could do nothing. Just becuase you did not get the verdict you thought you would get from the GM, dont call them useless, I have been a GM on several games (player servers of cousre) and I followed the same basic rules these GMs are following. With out GMs this game would be a whole lot worse off then it is with boting and MPK and such! I am sorry that this happened to you but lay off the GM he is doing what he is supost to!

Wow, that was the most naive post i've ever read. GMs are just pawns following guidelines written by SE's lawyers. Doing their job is akin to them spoonfeeding the customer base what it needs to hear to STFU for the time being.

Seems like the GM was just playing dumb. Although he's never been to end game himself, he obviously knows why people are interested in killing King Behemoth. On top of that, he knows that nothing drops if someone calls for help, and on top of that, he has to be smart enough to know that they did it intentionally.

One has to wonder what would happen if a NA LS did that to a JP one...

Anyway sorry to hear about that, it's truly unfortunate that people can be that ignorant.

I see how that is 100% true even without any facts, at all, listed. Kind of like how people like to say "All cops are corupt and out to get you".

He works under SE. He is doing his job. If he did anything to help you, he would be abusing his power. Pretty sure that can cost him his job.

Now think about it: "Hey I am going to lose my job, which gives me money to feed my children/pay the cost of my various hobbies/buy a wedding ring for my wife, over a whiny player... so I can please him, even though he will still judge me and post what I do on forums because I am not being his butt-buddy and letting him take back claims. What I said is very true and honest and no I will not STFU becuase I know what I am saying is right. I agree with Blood Red Poet, like I said the GMs are doing their job they can not break the rules for some one just becuase it is "unfare" this is a game so deal with it.

This is what u do to the LS that screwed u like that:

get lv 1 rdm
buy dia
buy silent oils and prism powders
go to behimoth's dominion
target the claimed HNM and spam /ma "Dia" <t>
once u claim mob don't even bother calling for help
then piss in ur pants from all the laughter u will get while a GM "Looks into the matter"

this is about the only way u can get that LS back for what they did to you. it's this or cry like a baby everytime someone screws you. A GM isn't your mommy and won't pamper you

I seen the same thing happen before on my server. Since people fight king behemoth by running away sometimes it does come unclaimed. Some NA player got it when it turned white for a second and called for help when it was close to dead. The Japanese players weren't too happy.

Theres nothing really you can do about this. GMs won't do nothing.

thats just it, they are not doing there jobs. how can they look into a matter when they dont know where you are at, or who you are referring too. TRUTH IS THEY CAN'T.

truth is we can post 100 talks we have had with differnt g.m. an i bet you they have they same basic talk pattern.. last gm talk was like this

the fact is they do there job half ass. enough to get by, enough to stay employed. they follow a little sheet a paper that tells them what to say an when, an how to answer when the sheet doesn t say.
