I tried emailing Sony to see what was up. They dint have FFXI anywhere on their site. I also asked about the HDD. Here is their exact quoted response. Its nothing special but I though I would share.

We could get everyone at this site and other message boards to bombard square with emails regarding ffxi and sony regarding hdd. Probably wont get anything done cuz of stupid auto machines though, but maybe someone will notice.
