You can take a class from 1-50 in a week easily if you play 8-10 hours a day, BUT (key point) you must be able to get the best groups possible that will net you ~4-5k xp a hour.

why would you want to get 1-50 in a week, that is ruining the game you dont even learn things or area you just level what is the point to get to 75 with your first month???

Not to mention being able to get that group fairly quickly after you log on, which doesn't always happen.

I think we're all assuming that someone doing this is not leveling their very first job to 50.

I'm sure we can all agree that if you've leveled a few jobs to high level already, you want to get the low levels done with ASAP for any other jobs you level.

The thing is, you yourself might be able to play 8 hours straight. The other people who comprise your party may not - or rather, most likely cannot. That means you not only have to worry about starting the initial party, but also finding replacements so you can keep going.

Here's one idea. Get 3 PCs/PS2s. Start an account on each of them - 1 PLD, 1 BRD, 1 WHM. If the job you want to level isn't one of these, add a 4th account with that job. Voila! You have all the hard to find jobs at your disposal. Add 3 easily found and easily replaceable generic damage dealers and you're ready to go. You'll have to multitask like hell, but it's not impossible.

Back to the point. 10-50 ain't hard in static party(which may or may not be pwlvled counting on party formation). A Good party(really good party) with unlimited supply of mobs(Bubu comes into my mind) can do 10-20 in less than 15 hours of leveling. 20-21 can be done in less than an hour, 22-30 is easy, if you use alternatives it can be at least. 30-40 can get annoying at times, but once again alternatives make it easier. 40-50 is nothing. This is when you have a stpt.

Otherwise I see it unlikely unless people 'camp' your Party-Seek Icon as they do Leapin Lizzy ^^.
