wow this surprises me, Verant(makers of Everquest) would have never released something as detailed as this and acctully they took away the availability to see how many people were on the servers. Its nice to see that Squenix can be so open.

On another note, the figure showing peak login times clearly shows why Squenix will never seperate JP and NA servers. They are currently getting the most "bang for their buck" with this configuration and will most likely keep it this way until the servers are shut down for good.

Furthermore, looking at the numbers of characters that a typical JP player has I now understand why they charge for every extra character a player has.

I don't know if Squenix put this out to scare the competition but it should scare them, the buisness model behind FFXI is extraordinairly innovative and amazing. So assuming that JP/NA relationships can continue to improve and their is more GM visability I think its safe to say that FFXI will be around for a while and be #1, Props to Square
