Warrior, thief, or black mage? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 12-29-2002, 10:27 AM | #2 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 164 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 77 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 77 Donate | I'd say start as a Thief. Though it's easier to do the DRK quest as a high-level Warrior, it should only take a little longer as a low-level one. And besides, after that, as you raise your DRK levels, you don't have to level up Thief again until Lv. 60. Ne, chasing after it -- chasing after it -- that white wind...

What if you have to be like level 15 to use that sword? And warrior is the only one who can use it I think. There are many powers in this world for good or for evil, some are greater then I am, and against some I have not yet been tested. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 12-29-2002, 01:10 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 164 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 77 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 77 Donate | It is true that you must be a Warrior, but IIRC, it's a Level 1 Sword. Oh and you can't do the job as a lvl 1 Warrior... You have to be at least level 30 to do the advanced job quests. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 12-29-2002, 03:44 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 63 Style: Dark - Version 5 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 193 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 193 Donate | I'd probably go with Thief as a starting job, or a Monk.
It's my goal to be a gun-toting Tarutaru ranger so I figure i'm gonna need some money for guns and bullets "So there was this pun making contest right. The guy said allright, you write down ten puns and send them in and we'll see if you can win. Well I wrote them all down and waited until the final day of the contest to see if any of my ten puns would win. But no pun in-ten-did." | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 12-29-2002, 04:39 PM | #10 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 300 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 213 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 213 Donate | My opinions is that you should go wit ha warrior at some point. MAybe a thief/warrior. This is because you will get your weapon skills for big swords up which will help you start off. Second, warriors and dark knights probably have similair/same armor that you could use for both jobs. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 12-29-2002, 06:18 PM | #11 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 4 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 107 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 107 Donate | | Quote: | Originally posted by XDeath-BladeX78 I say start as a warrior cause later on your gonna need warrior sub when you are pting. But you can like get your thief to level 30, then go get the sword, then switch to warrior and kill 100 enemies right? Laguna: I suggest you should follow Arcturus' plan. As black as they come.
