My account got suspened , anyone got suspending before? Anyone have any ideas how long you will be suspeneded?

I think most likely its because I used a third party program to do fishing When I tried to log into playonline, a message appeared saying " Warning! Your playonline accoutn is suspened. Please contact the Playonline information centre for furthur details."
Well I have been waiting for 2 days for their reply... still nothing.
So I'm wondering how long will my account be suspened? If its too long, I guess I will just cancel my POL account...

Give them a call and i'm sure they can help you over the phone.

I just looked at the website , there is no service that enables you to cancel your playonlien account exccept by either emailing or calling them. I wonder where their information centre is located... Its gonner be real expensive to make the phone call to them as I'm living in Singapore.

are we suppose to feel bad for you? Chances are they ban your account and you wont be comming back unless you buy another copy and use another CC.

well, if they wanner ban me say so. I dont wanner pay for my accoutn just waiting and thinking whether they will ba me or not. The thing is, they suspend my playonline accoutn which retricts me from accessing important services like change of credt card information , cancellation of account etc.

I would assume that they don't charge you while suspended. If anything you can call your CC Company and make them deny any payments to S/E.

And personally, you got what you deserved. Cheaters/Macroers are a big contribution to why EverQuest is starting to suck. I am glad S/E actively suspends people like you.

Agreed. I hope you are permanantly banned, and as a consequence, are forced to pay while you are suspended. Maybe that will help against all of your kind who cheat using progs to do things while your not there. Certain things can be overlooked but using cheat programs is not one of them.

Cheating is wrong but sounds to me he tried to make full use of his $13/month, I mean you still pay even when you sleep lol.

i find it strange that you were suspended without prior notice of your suspension. Usualy in MMOGs GMs will confront you, take you aside (usualy TP you to a secluded area) and discuss your illegal actions before taking action themselves, and inform you of the consequences, including the length of your suspension.

of course...you were probably off in la la land while your character was auto-fishing, were confronted, and just stood there afk like a retard trying to fish with no water. :p Oh well, either way, you got what was coming to you.

Yep.. Some of my friends said that the Gm would bring me to jail and I could still log on .. but I will be in Jail... I think ym macro program auto disconnect my character fromt he server... Seriously, I dont mind even if they ban me.. I really feel that playing MMORPG for all these years.. I ahve neglected alot of stuffs... I have been playing ever since from Uo to Everquest to.. blah blah... Well, I dont really think fishing would really hurt the FF community much... Cant Square Enix design a theme Park juz like the one in FF 7 .. where the would freaking palce is a theme park? I mean.. they should make earning gil be a fun process... Thats why pple like me resort to such methods .. honestly.. I dont really earn much for fishing either.. cos I only fish for awhile. Hope you guys dotn take it too hard on those who do Macro fishing too... I mean.. we all have a life right? Sometimes , we use a alittle help so that we can enjoy both the game and things like cooling off with friends.. etc. However, if you guys really want me banned, so be it.. I dotn blame you either.. because you value the things that are in game more than I do.

I don't like cheating. But cheating is not only a character flaw of the cheater, it also shows that something is wrong with the game. Obviously for some people gaining gil in FFXI is so boring, that they prefer a macro doing it for them.

Games should not have ANY activities that can be macroed. Period. If fishing were some sort of mini-game, like in Dark Cloud, and not a monotonous repetitive action, there would be no macro cheating.

Oh yeah! The fishing mini-game in Dark Cloud was great! They did a real good job with that. I forgot what those two fish were called (the ones that gave you lots of "fishing points" or whatever... but they were pretty tricky to catch.
