Warning about a game bug...

Today I ran into my first game bug, and I thought I'd let you guys know about it so it doesn't happen to you.

If you are selling something in the Auction House, and you clear the sales reciept before picking up your gil from your Mog House, your gil can sometimes vanish into thin air.

I reported this to the GM's, and talked with one at length about it. It appears that they know about the bug, and are trying to get it fixed, but could only offer me an apology. I was told that GM's do not have the ability to reimburse items or gil, game bug or no, for any reason.

I lost 9.5k in gil today from selling my ore and crystals, don't let it happen to you. =( Always pick up your gil from your Mog House before clearing your sales reciepts.

ouch im sorry that happened to you, i will make sure to alwasy check mog house first before clearing AH reciepts

Someone on my LS kept complaining that his mog stole his money, i thought it was just a joke lol (told him he spent it on moogle pom pom dye)guess he's having the same problem. =/

I had the same problem, the GM acctully told me to either A. wait 24 hours or B. reinstall the game. It seems this can be caused by a couple of different issues mainly YOUR installation of the game getting corrupted. So well anyways I logged to pol talked to a GM came back and poof there was the gil...hope that helps

This same exact thing happened to me yesterday. The GM told me to wait 24 hours, then repetition. Anyway, I tried sending myself 1 gil through the delivery system, and when I checked my delivery box, the 1 gil had arrived along with some of my missing money. I did this 3 times in order to get everything that was missing. Perhaps this will work for you.

I've had the same thing happen to me before as well. Talked with a GM and he gave the same response. Gil may take up to 24 hours to arrive and they can not reimburse players for any gil/items lost for any reason. Luckly it only happened to me once and was just a stack or 2 of fire crystals. If it happens again i'll be fure try what voxel suggested.

ok good so I am not the only one that this is happening too. I am a mage and am very low on funds. I can't afford that thieving lil moogle to swipe my gil, so until I hear that they fixed it I will continue to stock pile all my AH sellable items.

lol... I thought I was dreaming when that happend to me... was checking AH for sales info before I go to bed(therefore, I was real tired), and then I clicked all those sold items, go home checked delivery box, and my Mog ate my money

It happened to me too, and they werent my items!
I was selling a full suit of armor for a friend since his AH was full, and I didnt get the Gil for two pieces of armor...which just had to be the two most expensive pieces.
I paged a GM also, and got the same response about clearing list before checking Moghouse, wait 24 hours or reinstall the game.
Never got the gil though, so I had to pay him back =(
