After level 30 a good party can be with out the WHM heck the last 8 parties I haven't had a WHM. Get you a Red Mage, Bard, BlM, and there melee and your good to go. It's a matter of team work and how you pick your monsters.

Yeah well im a WHM and ur not so i think id know better, everytime i log in, before i even get the chance to "seek party" i get about 2 invites, i dont have trouble finding a party at all, even if a party already has 2 whm's i will still get invited, and 3 whm's in a party is surprisingly good if ur thinking its not. As long as u got at least 1 voker.

Personally I would never have 3 WHM in a party, unless there was no one else for at least an hour.

2 WHM is more than enough, but 3 really cuts your damage capability.

I would say that BLM is actually the most sought after class at high level, close between BLM and BRD. Certainly most of the high level NA people I have met tend to be BLM as Shiva has a shortage of them.

When I put my mind to it I really don't have too much of a problem finding a PT.
Some smooth talking gets me into JPN parties... (ok ok, I abuse the translator a lot, and a few key phrases I know in romaji)
Either way, jpn parties love me... I'm not sure but I'm honestly thinking my whm skills are getting a good reputation because I get invites more and more from Jpn players. >.>

Something I should stress tho.. it might have been mentioned.. this many previous posts I might have missed a couple..

EDIT YOUR SEARCH COMMENT
when I look for parties, people who have a search comment that provides useful information helps a lot when building parties.. Japanese players use it a lot
my comment says something like this:

@6200 (Home Point) (Bastok)
(Japanese)/(English) Ok

At least those two lines.. if I have food, I'll add it there. Japanese players will look upon you more favorably if you consume food(when it comes time to find party members) Food > all.
IF I have anything more to add.. like maybe (East Altepa Desert) Only.. or whatever..
Note that words in brackets are words that are in the translator.
Japanese players will see the brackets.. (just as we see them if/when they use the translator) it shows effort in wanting to communicate, which again gives Japanese players more incentive..

I don't blame Japanese players for now wanting NA players sometimes tho. Random NA parties are more often than not very disappointing. If some stupid disaster doesn't occur, there's an idiot or two who either want to play their own way, or whine about lotting(LOT IS THERE TO BE USED FFS) but worse is tanks with sub-par equipment. As a whm, this annoys me the most because it just makes me have to heal like nuts to keep up.

A last point.. people with subjobs that aren't leveled don't get invited to japanese parties. It's just not done. They will wait longer for people rather than waste time with someone who doesn't care enough to level his/her subjob to it's maximum level(half of main)

Bottom line, if you show that you know what you're doing by having a fully leveled subjob, up to par equipment, up to par in spells(if applicable), AND show that you're interested in joining a japanese party, chances are one will invite you eventually.

Again, Food helps. If you have mithkabobs, don't hesitate to advertise it in your search box.
I've noticed Melee type people also put their weaponskill levels, so melee people might want to do that...I like when melees have that, it helps me plan skillchains for my tanks before I even have a full PT.

Cavill the game changes at 41+. I would never take a WHM in my PT if there is a RDM seeking. One RDM with refresh can heal better(less down time) then a WHM at his level. Also he can keep refresh on myself and the paladin, zero down time kills. Also leaving a WHM out leaves one extra spot for an extra damage player...faster kills, more exp.

Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying WHM arent wanted, cause alot of times they have to be taken because the lack of RDM. But any smart group 41+ will skip a WHM if a RDM is seeking.
