Level Help Job/sub Job

OK.If I level up a Monk to level 30 as my main job and then swich
my main job to Dark Knight and my sub job to monk what level would my Monk be.I know my Dark Knight would be at level 1.

So it is like this
1 Dark Knight/??monk

The first field is for basic job the second one for sub job.
And since the advanced jobs are kind of basic jobs with the only difference that you can get them from lev30 on and there are no advanced-subjobs, it would look like this: 1DKN/SUB

I'm not sure if you can keep your sub job from monk times (think you can), but basicly it looks like that you have to start all over again with your DKN.

if ur Dark Knight was lvl 1 and ur Monk is lvl 30 (when it's ur main job), then if you were to make your character Dark Knight/Monk, then you'd have 1 Dark Knight/1 Monk.

However, if you got ur Dark Knight to lvl 4, u'd have:
4 Dark Knight/2 Monk

Ur subjob lvl is half of ur main job lvl if it's high enough....so u could get ur Dark Knight to lvl 80 and u didn't lvl up ur Monk any, then u'd have: 80 Dark Knight/ 30 Monk

what about when your lvl 30 and u have 30 monk as your job and 15 wairror as your subjob, if u were to change your job to dark knight and left wairror as your subjob what would the wairror skill be ?

wait if u have a lvl 80 warrior then u switch ur sub to dk it would be 80/40 so can u take that 40 dk and make it ur main job and switch the other sub job to something else?

Your subjob will ALWAYS be half of your main job, so if you were to change your main job to a Lvl 30 Dark Knight, then your subjob would be half of 30. So if you wanted warrior as your subjob it would be 15, and you would have all skills and qualities up to lvl 15, excluding super job ability.

Now say you wanted your lvl 30 monk job to be your subjob and you have as your main job Lvl. 30 Dark Knight, since your subjob can only be half as your main job you would look like this: Lvl 30 Dark Knight/Lvl 15 Monk.

Your subjob is not "ALWAYS" half of the lvl of ur main job. The MAXIMUM it can be is half the lvl of ur main job

And if ur subjob is 40 when ur main job is 80, then the max ur subjob's actual lvl is, is 80. It could be 40 though.

If you had a Warrior lvl 30 and a Dark Knight lvl 50 even if you changed the warrior to main job and darknight to sub Your warrior would be lvl 30 and Dark Knight Would be lvl 15 cause the subjob can only be half your main job

You cant have a sub job with a level 1 dark kinght cuz you have to do a quest when your level 18 to get the ability to use sub jobs.

In order to get the dark knight, you have to get another job up to level 30, so unless you never did the quest, which would be kinda dumb, you would have a sub-job.

oh.... I thought you had to wait til you were 18 if you had done the quest with another class, or might have to do it again with that class
