Just how easy is it to level up?

i just got the game, and so far its the best, i've had it for like four days now and i am lvl 15 Warrior

i would say it isnt too hard, just PT and dont die, it just takes a while....and plus when u get ur subjob it should be easier to lvl up your main job....

There are always tricks to lvling fast, whether it be twinking (everquest) or fin and diamond groups (daoc). Eventually once the game has been out, people will be finding tricks and ways to get characters to 60 in amonth or less.

Evilkitty is lv59 DRK 30 WAR now, with 10k more to go... He got the game the same time as I did, which was 2.5months ago... But he prolly put in 50% of his life into the game tho... ^^

hmm, i dont know about that. u do know that u get the most exp when ur with people of your same level, so there couldn't b any power leveling of some sort. (ie, if a level 60 took you to kill SL which is EXTREMELY unlikely lol and you were level 1, when SL dies, you would get like 2 exp just a guess lol) and i don't see any other form of getting exp fast, except going to kill a high level monster and miraculously killing it lol

Still a bit confusing. From my viewpoint you'd make it seem that 24 Earth hours = 24 Vana'diel hours. I know it's not what you intended, but that's how it came across. :confused:

Here is how the time works. 1 real hour = 1 Vana'diel day.

There are always ways to level up faster than normal. In Diablo II, you could get to lvl 99 is two days.

well yeah you could still powerlevel....hard to find a way to prevent that. you kill something and get the exp, right? so you fight something really hard while some other high level (not PT'd with you) buffs you up and heals you so you dont die. note that you're NOT PT'd with the high level person, so you it doesn't detract from your exp. pretty easy

of course there's going to be twinking for secondary characters. with a high level character just get a bunch of extra really good stuff and give it to your secondary character, who then proceeds to tear everything apart very easily and with little downtime between fights

lol the basics of MMORPGs. if you start later than everybody else you end up WAY behind unless you make friends in high places :p
