Question Bypassing the File Check Pre-Update?

Well, my query is simple really. I'm on an unstable connection for a day, and i really want to complete my game update. But with the unstability, having to go throught he File Check with a number greater than 7K is a real pain and extremely time consuming.

Is there anyway to bypass this check?

Please let me know if there is, iI'd really appreciate it :D

I'm sorry, maybe i wasn't clear enough. By 7K, i meant 7,000 files that it has to verify BEFORE it starts updating. The 3 steps it follows are as follows:

1. Verify/Check Foles (7,000 files +)
2. Donwload Update
3. Install Update

Now since my connection is unstable, i D/C at an average of 20 minutes, it takes mroe than 10 minutes to check throught he files, so i can 10 minutes of downloading done before i oughto rinse and repeat, so i was wondering if there was anyway I could skip the File Check, theat's bout it

The file check for FINAL FANTASY XI, PlayOnline or Tetra Master update is not bypassable. This is because of the order in which actions take place in the update. Updating is a three-step process:

1) File list (file.txt) is downloaded from the server; this file contains locations where to find all the files required for the update. In the same step, all the files' version that are part of the update (as listed in file.txt) are checked against the version listed in file.txt. This is the "file check" process and cannot be bypassed. If a file has already been downloaded and updated, it is not updated again.
2) Files that need to be updated are downloaded from the update server. If a file has already been downloaded in an earlier attempt at updating the software, then it does not need to be downloaded again.
3) Files are installed to the various places required in the FINAL FANTASY XI, PlayOnline or Tetra Master directories and are removed from the ~\patch directory.
