so i was like :'( they have my money , spose ill wait , they sed it wud ship monday , and they took my money monday , and research today shows that they suk at emails , people have recieved there game had ir for about a week , and THEN recieved there email receipt , so ill just wait :D

You probably made the wiser choice. I was hasty, and I don't want to miss friends playing this. Had I waited, I don't think I would have got it till like.. monday or tuesday next week. Most of my friends overseas have it already.

hmm , well its not the wait that bothers me too much , i just hope i get b4 saturday *has mondays off* 3 days of play wud be nice , but as long as i get it before NEXT friday , ill be ok , if i dont have it , servear complain time!!!!!

You can't cancel after its been shipped. The best you could do is return it but you might only get credit to spend there again and you'll have to pay postage to return it.

I think you misunderstood me. There was no sign of it having been shipped in any way. It was still "pending" and I never got an email to say it was shipped either. That's when I cancelled. Cancel was accepted, but I later found out that I had been charged on the 3rd, even though I cancelled on the 4th.

So I don't even have the game. Just this charge on my bill..

Game Focus - shop in londo, goodge street. Where i ordered mine from and also very good service. www.gamefocus.co.uk the game is not on their site so give them a call and they will deliver it to you.

Gamestop -A very good US shop (like our GAME) and probably the most reliable. www.gamestop.com

Hmm. My box arrived empty. 5 Jewel Casses and nothing else.

Taking it to the shop in a few hours and will get a refund and buy it from that shop in Godge Street instead. Apparently the idiot in their online ordering section sent out 3 empty boxes, one to me and two to some guys I had told about Computer Exchange. Luckily I didnt waste the money on express delivery at least.

Not happy that they took the stuff out of the box either, since they could have seen the CD key and such as well and the box is marked as being unsellable if opened. However I know that their normal practice is to store CDs in a safe place whilst the boxes are on the shelves.

importmadness confirmed my shipment today , i shud have in about 3 - 5 days ,
past experiance with order from canada ( ebay ) show that most items sent by normal post take 3 -5 days
so mon-wed of next week :D

Sorry, I mentioned this in another thread, but not here. I emailed 2-3 times over last 2 days and in my last one explained that I would let my cc company know about this situation seeing as I had not heard anything from IM at all.

They sent an email back, and have refunded the charge. So yeah, it's sorted out.

Oh, I see. Companies don't normally take payment before they're shipped. It looks a bit dodgy that they do.
