Mission question

Does anyone know why my mission keeps repeating after I have completed it?? I completed mission three in Bastok (collecting Quadav armor which is not fun because they're too easy and give no exp. points), then completed mission four, then when I go back to get the fifth mission he gives me the third again!? With the third completed for the second time, I talk to him for the fifth mission.......he gives me the third one again!! (>_<);

Hmm, well my rank meter did rise every time I completed the mission. But, If memory serves me, I haven't traded any crystals with a guard (only for mission four for the crystal for cid). What crystals do I give the guard (Cleades?)?
