AF Vs. JSE

A full set of AF is lv 60 and a full set of JSE is lv 70, so whats better?
JSE is a higher lv, and its for 1 job just like AF,
but you have to do quests for AF, and you can buy or make JSE.
so im wondering.

From what I understand, JSE is much stronger (and also much harder to get) than AF. Also, I think you can get all the JSE by lvl 68.

actually af and jse go very well together,
its all based on what you ll be fighting.
I lIke the buffs of AF and the look, but af and jse complement each other,
also most JSE are made from guild skills, rather than questing.
so get both ,

hmm. have't checked the JSE one yet. there's a new set of high level JSE?
All I've seen are belts, rings and earings... belts are great but rings and earings really are quite useless.

I'll go check out other parts in AH.

i saw this ranger yesterday with his hella-cool armor on, so I thought I'd snap a few shots.






but as you can see the armor can be worn by a couple of other jobs too - so it can't be JSE?
He also had a lv70 gun!

that's cuere armor. made from cuere skin (ack how to spell the yellow cat name?)

I've looked around... the only JSE armors i could find was the level 28-36 ones....

JSE belt and earings are high level 60-70 but that's about it. no high armors.

wait, what's JSE. Job Specific armor? how does RSE factor into this (better or worse that AF).

sorry i got confused. job specific not race specific...
only a few jobs right now have their job specific armors. never really come to my attension since rdm doesn't got one....

and they are great. for WHM head part especially, higher defense and looks better (I hate that mushroom looking hat) I'm planning to level up my whm and won't bother getting AF. I have whm AF...

only 4 jobs have JSE now tho. WHM DRG PLD and BLM
WHM and DRG got the whole set
BLM has only that black refresh robe
PLD got shield and golden body

Wow, I assumed there was a JSE set for each class. That's kind of disappointing, considering how cool the whm and drg JSE looked Does anyone know if they intend to release JSE for the other classes at some point?

i thought i saw DRK the other day, it looked like san conquest armor but it was all black and had red symbols in it, i checked it and it was lv 68 body peice i think. He had matching pants and gloves also and boots. I was unsure about the scythe caus i forgot its lv >_<. BTW he was lv 70

Oh, i didnt see it but Drako told me that the PLD JSE was basically the same but it was gold not white. He also told me most JSE was crap if i understod him right. He said it was just for looks.
