I know this issue has been somewhat addressed and is in the main page guide...but im still a little unlcear on some things. Is the ability to create a char., then you get assigned a random server, if it isnt the one you want then just delete it until you get the server of your choice no longer a viable option...and if that does still work is it a long process and cost anything(real money wise)....and say a clan decides on ragnarok server and nobody gets randomly put in that server then do we just have to pick another server since nobody will be able to purchase a worldpass for that server...and finnally..has anyone discovered a relativlely quick and easy way to get all your friends in the same server beceause im sure once everyone gets the game they dont want to spend hours just trying to get into the server they want...or is that just unavoidable. As I understand it each person can only buy one world pass good for 5 days for that world..then you get your friend in and then they have to purchase one for the next person etc. etc. so in essence it has to be done one by one which im sure takes a considerable amount of time..is that the way it is??

Yep, you pretty much answered your own question. If none of your buddies can get on Ragnarok, you'll either have to choose another server or ask one of the folks already on Rag for a WP. Once you get on, you'll have to daisy-chain WPs like you said, since 1 person can only buy 1 WP every 3 days, and it only works for 1 person.

Why you would even want to get on Ragnarok in the first place, I'll never understand. Our WPs on Titan cost about 800g last time I checked, which means Titan is fairly crowded, but Rag's WPs cost around 1300, which sounds nasty overcrowded to me (I'm sure Rag people can attest to this).

If I were you, I would just aim for one of those bright, shiny new NA servers, but that's just me. :angel:

hmm. I wish when u buy WP u can go to any server and keep ur char. Any way I hope to jojn the new NA servers! Start fresh.

· What is World Pass and how do I get one?
World Pass will guarantee a character to a server where the World Pass was originally purchased. World Pass can ONLY be used when creating a character. There is a "World" text location where you can fill in the Name of the Server and the World Pass Code. There is a World Pass buying location in 3 major cities on every server. The cost is about 750Gil - 1000Gil. Also keep in mind that there is a expiration on the World Pass. The pass is valid for 7 real life days OR may be used 5 times, which ever comes first. If the World Pass gets used up 5 times before the 7 real life days, the purchaser will have to wait until the 7 real life days pass before buying another World Pass.

...I found this on the ffxi faq on this site...I take it this isnt right or pol changed the workings of the worldpass?, It would be much easier if one worldpass could be used 5 times that would take alot of the strain off of bringing people in one by one...
did they change this or is this just incorrect?

Also...so can we not just create chr...get a random server...not the one we want...delete char...and keep doing that until we get the server of choice or is that no longer possible?

and one more thing...I just realized...I never even considered that I would be put into a jpn server and was wondering how someone would tell the difference between A Jpn server and A US server of the same name since practically all of the names for each list are the same...other than walking around and seeing that most everyone is speaking to you in Japanese lol

Im not 100% Sure how to et and use WP. But Ifg i can get a WP to a NA new server YAY. Can I have a list of the new servers?

I would also like a list of the servers...and this was just brought to my attn and I didnt even consider this...when Ive seen the entire jpn and us server lists all the server names were the same until near the end...now I assumed that jpn had theirs and we have ours...in total like 42-43 servers...or are those servers all the same and they are only adding US servers at the end of the list...so their isnt a jpn ragnarok and a us ragnarok their will be just one ragnarok and thats it??? is that right?

yeah that's right you can also send square an e-mail to put you in a certain server and ragnarok has 200 more people then it can handle so one word for ragnarok LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEE EEEEEEEE

ty for the response...I wasnt plannin on going their anyway I want a shiney new US server....since Jpn has 20 or more servers in use already...any idea how many will be added on when the us release date hits??and what they are?? lol or is that info just not out and about yet?...and where is the addy to send sqaure a email requesting a server since im sure that would solve alot of problems about clans wanting to be on the same server which is an issue for me aswell.

Sorry for the double post but I found this server list on a clan website joiningofsix.com I believe its called anyway...I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it is accurate since it seemed to differ a little from other lists ive seen and also has many more servers then ive seen so if someone could also tell me if any of these servers have been added for the NA population..and if so are they available yet to Jpn for use?...or will they only be available when our release date hits??and is their many more to come??

the revised server list should come out a little over 2 weeks before oct 28th, after the first pre-order estimates are out.
