hi hi. Sorry if these are posted somewhere, but in my reading on a few sites and a few guides, I have yet to find the answers to these.

What is the maximum level?
(I know subs can only be 1/2 of the main, but what's the main max?)

Can you only have 1 sub job?
I ask this because I remember reading something about picking a sub at 18 and then different ones at like 30?

Can you use sub job equipment?

Like, I hear the best choice for a White main is a black sub, but I think the Thief's evasion and ability to use daggers / armor would be helpful as a main healer. (So like, one day when I'm high enough lv, could I be white / black / thief?)

Sorry if some asked this but can the sub jod level up to wen its a sub job.

You have to go to your 'moghouse' and swap it to be your main job. Only the main will level up.

The thing that I'm confused about this though, is that what does that mean for your abilities / powers / equipment?

Once the subjob quest is complete, you may apply any of your other jobs as your sub job...it's capped at 1/2 the main...
therefore, you can sub ANY job to ANY main combination...not just a single subjob permanently

ALL equipment is restricted to you main job only...sub jobs do not add equipment usability

Out of personal experience, /THF sub to a mage main is next to useless...you'll want the extra MP as opposed to anything a /THF could offer, especially at lower level...also, remember, subjobs don't add EQ usability, so you wouldn't be able to use any new armors or weapons (though BLM may use some daggers)

Um... I think you misunderstood the question. I wasn't asking about how many choices of subs we had, I was asking how many can we have.

Like, can I do: White / Black / Thief?
or can I just do: White / Black -OR- White / Thief?

See, from what I've read the /Thief would be useless as my main sub, but I've seen peoples posts that were like bla/bla/bla/bla/bla, so how many subs can you have? Just the 1? Like any number as long as they are halved? So like lv 70 main / 35 sub 1 / 17 sub 2 / 9 sub 3 / 4 sub 4?

What about your like trade jobs? Do they count as a /sub?

u can only have 1 sub at a time... but u can change it at any time... so u can be as u said White/Black or White/Thief but not White/black/theif... but u can switch to /black and /theif as often as u like.

Wouldn't a switch to a different sub revert it's level to 1?

Cause you could, in effect, level up all the subs to 1/2 your main and then just swap as needed by the group at the time?

This shows you all the stats for two jobs not skill wise but stat wise. Like DJ said the max is 70 for your main job and 35 is your sub job.
