Roleplaying and naming weapons

I've thought about this a couple of times before, and it's always made me wonder ... how many people really plan to roleplay (as opposed to acknowledge that it's all a game), and to what degree do you plan to do so? Specifically, I wonder if people will RP so far as to name their weapons. I think it's a pretty cool idea, y'know, Lord of the Rings/etc., kinda feel ... what are your thoughts? Will you RP or not? What would you name your sword / other deadly fighting implement?

I'll roleplay ... tinkering with somekind of wird story, I will turn into a Journal!

I'll sorta roleplay... maybe... I mainly will quest and adaventure out in the new world and I'll find some rare items thats for sure.

In all reality you can kiss roleplay go realistically in most MMPORGS these days. Too many powergamers around that ruin it and too few people who want to do it.

Everquest made specific RP servers for this...but even there it degenerates into a l33t fest.

On a game where most dont speak good english you can pretty much forget roleplay I would of thought.
