No registration code with PC version

I have the PS2 beta kit and all the codes were in the back of the book. When I went to register the PC version for Playonline everything in the back of the book was blank. What's the deal?

Why the heck do you have 2 different kinds of beta kits? Isnt one enough? I mean whats the point of appling to two different apps? If you were LUCKY enough to get a PS2 kit, that means you are already gonna fet a free HDD when they come out. I just cant figure out the logic between using two beta kits for yourself. At least give one to a friend or something....
