I saw the other thread, and someone said that most everyone would be a summoner, so I figured I'd do this to see how many people are how excited about summoning.

Like you said it is not on my top of the list but....I dont know. if they come out with a samurai now that will be on my top list and I will do almost any thing for that.

Summoning's never been my thing. FF5, 6, 9, barely ever used them. Well, 9 maybe, and 8+10 they're essential, but I never though it was the be-all-end-all epitome of magical coolness.

im surprised and happy from these results....but then again, if square makes them too strong or something, i guess ppl would definitely reconsider...

I don't care if Square makes them as strong as hell. I most likely still won't be one. Just cause thats the way i am. I kinda don't like magic or summoners just straight melee.

I am a Mage Addict (cerfied member of MAA :spin: ), aways have been, always will be, there's no denying that. I think that, no matter the cost, I will be a summoner if the job/ability becomes available. I've always favored summoners in my FF prtie above all else; having Dagger as my main contenderat the end of FF IX, winning the last battle of FF X with summons. :sweat:
Judging from this I don't think there'd be any doubt that I would strive to attain the much honred position of

Summoner

Um inside joke ppl, anyway, one summon I would really like to see is Palidor from FF6. Whole party uses Jump attack ... phew! That'd put some hurt on even the nastiest Malboro ...

i would rather it be an added skill that mages can get

since mages are THE best imo

But, it really isn't that important to me. If i had to choose between being a summoner and a mage of any kind, i'd pick the mage

yeah, well i can't vote but if i could i would pick the fourth choice. i'm really into magic attacks and all but more into actual spells rather than summons. their cool to watch and all but they usually take gigantic amounts of mp and don't do much more damage than a regular spell anyway. of course i'd still like to see them in the game anyway.
(p.s. i'm the one who said that everyone would wanna be a summoner, i guess i contradicted myself)
