When You Die...
when you die, and if you have a Sub-Job "equiped" do you also lose 10% of the exp. needed of that sub-job to get to the next level? ( i know your sub-job does not get any exp.)

thanks for any help

One only loosed exp on the main job. And it is 10% exp that is lost if one dies, or 75% of those 10% if you are resurrected within 1 hour.

yeah, when u have a main job and a sub job, you recieve no exp for your sub job..only main job..and you lose no exp from your sub job..only main job..so that is why when you get a new job that you want to do, u have to make it ur main job to lvl it up ^_^

Yes one looses exp if one dies on one way or another.
So that is how one looses levels, one dies too much... been there done that

when u die u lose 10% of the EXP required to level to the next level. If you haev 3000/4000, u lose 400. If you have 200/4000, You lose 400, level down, and need 200 to level back up again. If you get a raise, you get 25% of that exp back.

so...in order to upgrade your sub you have to go to your mog house and switch the sub to your main? Seems like that would take a lot of leveling to upgrade both like that.

One looses when one clicks on the button to respawn at once homepoint, not before.
Or if one wants to wait there is a time ticking down from 60 minutes (when one dies) that is if one wants to try and get a mage to revive one.

After you have reached level 30 the % of exp loose should go down, that is what I have heard.

ok thanks guys.. but now im a little confused

you lose the exp. when you decide to get revived back at your home point, not if a mage comes by and revives you?

sorry for the trouble...

I think you'll loose EXP regardless. If you die and go back to ur homepoint, you'll loose 10%. If you die and get revived you'll still loose EXP but you'll get back 25% of what you lost.

the 59:14 means 59 mins and 14 seconds until you are sent to your home point. or you could just click the button which is highlighted below the timer and go there straight away. either way you lose 10% experience

if a white/red mage or a paladin comes by before the timer expires they can revive you and you only lose 7.5% experience

if you go back to home point when dead - You lose 10% of the experience you have to gain for the next level

if revived when dead - you lose 75% of that 10%

EDIT : lol, we all basically said the same thing
