I know ill be getting some sort of flame for this, but I am just registering for Ffxi, and i keep getting the error UCS-60257, that my information was wrong of the server is busy. After trolling the interwebs, i decided that ia may be because of maintenance to the registration servers. I'm pretty sure i've done everything correctly. In short: Are the servers off, or is there some sort of easy answer to whatever's wrong? |

Could be you're taking too long to enter the information, it can time out if you take too long.

Hum. How long would be too long.. I dont think it's been an abnormal amount of time, I'll go attempt again, anything else that could be wrong? Edit: I'm getting the error UCS-5004 now, it's just saying the server is busy. Last edited by Aisu; 11-06-2009 at 06:47 PM. Reason: Because im a nub. |

There's been a lot of updates, and usually around payday (for SE) there's a ton of registration server maintenance that is done. I would say wait another day or so before trying to create an account.

Just a little insight on how I finally got mine working... It ended up being the card, I used a mastercard all of the times that failed. I pressed the "back" button after the error mentioned above, and entered the information on a different card (a visa), and was not prompted to go through securecode or whatever. Worked like a charm, hope this helps... -N |
