Need help with PlayOnline.exe and Win7...

I've looked around everywhere on the internet and can't find anything so I'm going to ask here and hopefully someone can help.

I just installed Windows 7, and downloaded the newest PoL setup from the bottom of the PlayOnline website:

After installation, when I run the exe it shows the blue "Play Online" screen then another screen opens for a split second and closes. The Play Online screen minimizes and I can't open it back. (Crash maybe?)

I really want to play FFXI, I just can't get PoL open. Can anyone help?

run POL in vista compatibility mode, and make sure to check "run as admin" as well

I dont need to do this with mine, but its worth a shot for you, if that does not work uninstall and reinstall POL.

Ah! That worked!

Also I had to run it in full screen mode for some reason. But it worked! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
