| Junior Member |   Update to FFXIconfig on 360?
Hey, I ran a search and the only thread I could find regarding my problem is this one: Xbox360 Settings and its 3 years old. So I was wondering if there has been any update to the ability to change the screen resolution on the Xbox 360. I just bought a new HDTV in 1080p and while it looks amazing, this game stretches. While it takes up the entire screen, the Macro bar ends at about the halfway point. Is there any way to fix this on the xbox now? Has PO released a version update or something enabling xbox users to access the FFXI config file and I am just not seeing it? If the answer is a simple no its fine, just close the thread. Thanks in advance.

Menu -> Config -> Screen Ratio

um are u talking about ingame? Cuz that option isnt in config..

I guess a little more info would help us out. Reading the other thread; his problem is his TV, it's not HD, nothing he can do really. Your TV is HD, so the same problem isn't applicable. I play on a 50" plasma at 1080i (I didn't think ahead and get the xbox with HDMI >.>, so 1080i is the best I can do with component cables) and XI is gorgeous, it doesn't stretch or anything. Most likely, you need to configure your console to HD settings. It's in the control panel, 'display settings' or something like that. There you can set your xbox to play at 720, 1080i, or 1080p.
