1366x768 capable screen nvidia geforce 9600 when i run the game in any resolution i am getting left an right of the screen cut off as well as top an bottom cutoff can anyone help me set my settings up to optimal settings so i may play the game please!! thanks for the help |

what resolution is the game textures etc as set in config, is it set to 4:3 and stretched or set to 16:9 or 16:10 modes suing teh ingame screen config bar?

16:9 i went thru all of them an they adjust my screen but the user interface such as my text bar is still being cut off as well as the top status bar  any help would be much appreciated.

I had a smiliar problem - this is how I fixed it on my pc. I had to change my graphics setting in my game directory because the normal config wasn't working for me. Go>>> Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ToolsEU\Final Fantasy Config.exe. You might have to use ToolsUS - I don't know what version you are playing. After that go >>> Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\polboot.exe I use polboot.exe to start the game now, and have never had a resolution issue since. Hope that helps, sorry if it doesn't. |

it sent me back to the same config screen i been messing with around today i tried gettin a screen shot but thats not workin either its jus cuttin off a lof of my screen so i dunno what to do so aggrivating |

Have you tried using the autoadjust feature on your monitor?

i cant open that up in the middle of the game and my monitor or lcd tv does not have that ability but its gettin later here an i gotta go to work so any help would be greatly apreciated thanks guys
