So basically I've looked using google for hours and I cant seem to find what im looking for, anyhow here goes.

Does anyone here use a 360 controller on their PC to play FFXI and have a chatpad connected to it? does it work fine and all?

It works ok for typing, but it's missing the essential ctrl and alt keys for replying to tells, etc.

Also, the green button causes the ui to disappear for screenshots, but the "/" character requires the green button, so you'll have to press the green button twice to type "/" (slash).

i use a 360 controller's LT/RT for up and down and the right buttons and left buttons as ctrl/alt so im fine im just wondering if the chatpad works for typing thats all, i get really tired of having to get up to type to tell people things
