I think we should examine this problem more closely and get to the core of the problem. Do you feel this "possible resentment" from your friends with other Final Fantasy games ? Are these childhood friends ? At what age did think they where "watching" you ?

Was you mother involved in these racing thoughts of people reading your gamertag ?

(Get serious dude.. final fantasy the game that help creat a lot of what they know as "their" game world, tell them to stfu.)

Grow the hell up, nobody but YOU should care what games you play. Its like being ashamed to admit youre a gamer. Shut up, or GTFO. Seriously, REAL friends wont rag on you (except jokingly) about what you play.

I know what he means about the teasing and what not, I'm in year 12 in Australia and I get a fair bit of crap from people in my class cause of FFXI. But who really cares? I'd rather play this and spend time with my girlfriend (who also plays time to time) then spend my days striving for someone's acceptance.

Just my opinion though.

Maybe if it was Barbie's Horse Adventure, I would understand. But 'real' games, even if I don't like the game in question, I don't see a reason to start giving someone shit over it.

Seriously if they are really teasing you for playing part of Series like Final Fantasy then I would think about who they are. In all honestly teasing at young age is bad and I know. We just had friend in ls that is 10 who's neighbor same age killed himself. So yes your "feelings" at that age may feel like earth shattering but remember you talking about a game and what you like as person. Better start standing up for something now cause you be doing it all you life. /end /lecture

If you haven't unlocked any Achievements I think you can.. I deleted one game off my played list cuz I didn't want it there. I didn't unlock any achievements

I agree, a new gamertag would be your best option. I believe you can still play with a silver account, so it will be free.
