Ok, I downloaded Vana'diel Collection 2008 at off of gamestop.com, I was just wandering is that a bad thing? Does it work as well as if you were to buy it at the store? Also, can you like burn it to a CD, to use on another computer or no? We don't really have a video game store at were I currently live. So, it was like the only way for me getting the game..just thought I would ask the question LOL.

Anyways, how did the download work? Does it download as just a setup file? An iso mayhaps? Both of those you should be able to burn, but I'm just not sure how an online download for ffxi would work.

I have a question though. Did they give you the registration codes for the game and expansions when you bought it?

No, I pressed the buy now button on the page, filled out the forum, and it downloaded onto my download tray. (sense I use Firefox) After that got done downloading to the tray, I pressed the open file button, and it started downloading FFXI: Vana'diel Collection 2008 on the FFXI Download station. I am guessing after it downloads or whatever, it will give me the registration codes, or atleast I am hoping. If not that is just a waist of 20$ LOL! btw its been 3 hours downloading and only 32% done, I am thinking it is downloading like it is on the disc, and will have the manual etc...

It also says this on the download information page if this helps any. "You will be prompted to save these games directly to your PC using our robust download managing software. No rentals, no subscriptions – you own the game!"
