|   Unknown Error- Unable to open file
Recently I obtained a buddypass, and so last night I went to download the game from the website. When the downloading was done it would screw up and would say "Unknown Error- unable to open file". I've downloaded it multiple times and can't get back to the download link to get the manual thing or download it again I don't know what to do here and just want to play the game. Please help. ~Pants I have searched the Q&A on the FFXI website but can't find anything. |

where are you downloading it from? just take $30 and go get the 08 collection

Did you play FFXI before on this computer? If so, did you make sure the previous version was correctly uninstalled? Just wondering because that might be creating a conflict. I wonder if FilePlanet would have the trial version for download? Might be a place to look.

No I haven't ever played FFXI and I just looked on fileplanet and found nothing =[
