New graphics card?

I've had this computer 4 years same graphics card and everything. Now as of recently while playing ffxi neon colors will start flashing on armor and stuff then my computer would freeze. No error code or anything just freeze then I would have to reboot. I've checked files and had recently reinstalled FF so I don't know. Last night lines appeared for the first time, then the usual neon flashing colors happened. First It was just in the dunes, now it's spreading. I can't pt in crawlers nest without freezing after about 5-15mins. Sky just started freezing me more and more often now. Ru'Lude Gardens too.

This sound like a graphics card problem? It's a nvidia geforce 6600 gt. I don't listing my specs will help since it's been playing ffxi without a problem for 4 years now.

I had a overheating issue with my last pc so I know the signs and symptoms of that. It'll just turn off opposed to freezing. Gonna head to best buy and spend my precious tax refund lol.
