Help me to play FFXI (Proxy)
Hello everyone, i have been shouting in game (at home) and someone told me about this forum, um well let's start this...

After 1 week of getting my new laptop i found that in my collage they has ISP with wireless so i can enter the web, but shortly i found they add a proxy (or i though so), and while trying to enter to PlayOnline.com i found they use some kinda of webfiltering (or i though so) cuz i can't see that page, the name of that page is fortinet.com at this point i dont really know what are they using but i do assume are both (proxy and webfiltering) after 1 really day of looking the problem i found a program that let me connect with the web, as far i know that program make my own laptop as a proxy server or whatever its said, it does configure my setings and make the connection with one server something like a HTTP tunnel, the web page of that program is: Your Freedom: Downloads well at this point i can access to webs sites like pol.com, as far i know i though that i have to configure settings on playonline viewer so i put up proxy settings, but was is my surprice is that i can't get connected, also i tried without proxy settings but nothing, so now here i'm, can some one can help me? or tell me another way to get connected to pol???

Most of the time i'm busy in collage, but times to times i have some free hours and i do love to play at that time, at some point i found that i can re-direct local ports or servers port, and they ask me for remote port, local server or remote server, local port, i have read the whole guide but i still dont understand all, if some one can help me i will apreciate to much!!!

Thank you for your time!!!! cya later

Pd. also i have been looking on the forum but did not find nothing that help me at this point

I think you'll find performance through a proxy to be far too poor to play.
