Error Code: FFXI-3001 No response to FFXI server Connection timed out Press OK to shu

Okay, before anybody starts off by saying "Go to Playonline website they have sufficient support data", they don't.

I get this error after I select my Character and login, then the loading screen (With the Crag background) loads. The error actually ensues when the black screen comes up with "Now Loading" in the bottom right.

That sits there for maybe 30 to 60 seconds and then the actual error comes up.

FFXI on my PC (Windows XP) (the machine in question) worked fine yesterday. I logged on today (With no new anti-virus, router, firewall programs (nor updates)) from yesterday.

Now, my PS2 works fine so it isn't a router problem.

And please, please, please, do not try to send me to POL website because I was on their sight for an hour and they only had one error that wasn't the one I had.

Their solution was to uninstall-reinstall FFXI (I did that) and if that didn't work to uninstall-reinstall the OS (seriously?).

It's not a router problem. It's most likely your ISP.

Evidence suggests that the culprit is your internet service provider being unable to connect to one or more of the FFXI servers.

Who is your service provider? If you call them it might light a fire under them to fix whatever the problem is faster.
