Hi guys. My internet is working just fine, all my internet based programs are too except for the viewer. I tried getting on a few times as I woke up today and it won't freaking work. It keeps saying the same crap it usually does whenever my internet is down (and it isn't) so wtf..
EDIT: It says "The network is busy or there are connection problems" > _ > was just fine yesterday. I just ran a virus/spyware check last night too in Safe Mode as well. What the hell is going on? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 09-01-2007, 07:26 AM | #2 (permalink) | | anti-spam Super Moderator Join Date: Jan 2004 Posts: 5,532 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 21 Thanked 63x in 58 Posts Gil: 32,915 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 32,915 Donate | Re: Anyone else having issues with POL? could still be your internet. try a tracert to JP's pol site. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 09-01-2007, 07:27 AM | #3 (permalink) | | RNG for life! Are you on a router Malachite? When I get that problem when I can't login, it's my router being retarded. I usually reboot the router in at least a minutes time and I can relog back in. | Originally Posted by FFXI's view on other MMORPGs | | 'Start learning boy, no you don't get a tutorial, this is man's country! It's never given me grief before though. When i click to log in it only goes to the loading screen for barely a second and it cuts out immediately to the error message. This is really pissing me off, been offline for a few days and I want to deal with Alexander before SE adjusts the 2 handed weapons again >_ > (they're doing too much damage to high level mobs like HNMs it seems) | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 09-01-2007, 09:19 AM | #5 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,264 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 644 Thanked 295x in 200 Posts Gil: 69,040 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 69,040 Donate | Re: Anyone else having issues with POL? ugh god damn it, now it won't even go to the loading screen (logging in, retrieving messages etc etc)
It just automatically jumps to the network connection problem screen...
I better not have to re-install anything - _ - wtf | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 09-01-2007, 11:05 AM | #6 (permalink) | | anti-spam Super Moderator Join Date: Jan 2004 Posts: 5,532 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 21 Thanked 63x in 58 Posts Gil: 32,915 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 32,915 Donate | Re: Anyone else having issues with POL? again try a tracert to the pol servers | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 09-01-2007, 11:37 AM | #7 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,264 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 644 Thanked 295x in 200 Posts Gil: 69,040 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 69,040 Donate | Re: Anyone else having issues with POL? a what?
EDIT: It runs fine on my PS3, so I don't think it's my router. I just finished running all my anti-spyware and anti-virus software too. My brother installed a new norton product called Norton 360 though... and I think that's what's blocking it.
God damn I HATE Norton's POS software.
