PlayOnline won't install.

Okay, now I come bearing news of a new issue.
This one is probably easier to answer than the last one;

Whenever I start up the PlayOnline viewer, and click

Install PlayOnline Viewer and Tetra Master

I get a little black window that pops up:



It closes a second after it pops up, and I'm returned to the previous menu, where I can click on

Install PlayOnline Viewer and Tetra Master

and all the other stuff.

So... what gives? Why won't my PC let me install POL?
I've got 10GB of free space on one HDD, 25GB on the other.

need a bit more info....

OS and if you are useing Vista, are you trying to install the Vista POL

from you other post about the registy... not sure what you have going on now, but seems like something is amiss ;p

Yepp ... lay it out for us. Easiest way to do this, enter dxdiag in the run command line. Let Direct X Diagnosis run (You should see a small progress bar in bottom left of this window)

Then hit save information button and it will generate a .txt file with the system settings. Just copy and paste the relevant info.

I fixed it by borrowing my friends' POL CD.
Apparantly, mine was broken... though, it had limited functionality.
