| Junior Member |   New Player - Will my comp. Handle at max settings ?
Hello guys I'm gonna start FF XI for fun ( after 2 years of hardcore Wow - Lvl 70 druid full tier 4 + lvl 70 lock full gladiator) because I played every other FF and I thought to myself, hey why not try the online FF. My question is not concerning the fact that I can run the game or not, it's more if I can enjoy the full graphic power without lag. Here are my specs and thanks for your time reviewing it : Inspiron 8600 1.80Ghz 768 Mo RAM ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 PRO TURBO and if I can't play at max settings, what are the settings most suitable ? You should try the benchmark tool at PlayOnline. That'll be a better judge than any of us here. You can play FFXI with those specs, but you won't be setting any performance/graphics records.

I scored 3200 at the benchmark and it seemed to run smoothly ( at " high " setting ). I hope I can enjoy at least some 1680 x 1050 settings =P It's gonna be funny playing this after FF XII And thanks for the offer man but I thought you couldnt choose the server ? Is there a way I can contact you so that you can answer my ingame questions ( and I'm sure there will be a bunch at first ) ? you definitely won't be able to run at max settings, but it should work alright. You can choose the server. |
