I keep getting an error when starting FFXI.
POL boots fine lets me log on but the minute it goes to jump to FFXI it fails and gives me this FFXI-9001 (-1) error. Read a post online that it may be a compatability issue. One suggeseted running in compatability mode for Windows 2000...? Tried that didnt work.

Current set up: WinXP Pro Nvidia 7600GT PCIE
JP POL NA FFXI

Yea only happens when I run with JP POL and FFXI
NA POL + FFXI loads no problem.
Both have all updates applied (took forever)

I had changed the \PlayOnline to \PlayOnlineJP and then POL wont even load. the way I can see which is POL JP and POL NA on desktop I renamed one which when I clicked on it prompted up in Japanese and the other in English, one was named PlayonlineNA, and the other PlayonlineJP

Is there something I am missing? as far as Target paths or something?

even though you have them in separate folders, i don't know if having two installs of POL (NA and JP) would work.

btw, are you japanese (or by extension, can communicate in japanese)? otherwise, aside from the novelty, there really is no benefit of installing the JP POL

Yes I can communicate, and learning at the same time. I know you can do it, various people have but I might be doing something wrong as far as paths.
