Ok simple problem, I don't have a working @/' key in ffxi.

I had this problem a while ago, but I can't remember at all how the hell I fixed it. This means though that I can't make corsair macros (corsai's roll) or use the damn usefull @exp.

Has anyone heared of this before? Its been over a year since I fixed this but god knows what I did back then

Um.. only suggestions I can think of are

1) you have a faulty '@-key ...remove the key, blow, recheck; then if necessary buy a new keyboard.

or

2) the ' and @ are still there somewhere on your keyboard, just not where they 'should' be. I used to use a keyboard which only had @ sneakily accessed with a shifted-2. Have you had a big old key mash in a private chat channel to see if these two elusive symbols are merely hiding away somewhere else?

nah thats not the problem, the key acts as its not there, but ca you can see I'm useing it as i type in the forums, its a ffxi problem, even changeing the keyboard settings in windows doesn't help T-T

Is your keyboard a UK layout, or US? Your keyboard might be trying to change it's layout to US, which could cause problems.

Alternatively, if there any shops around there selling old MS PS/2 keyboards, with a US layout, that might be something to look into. That SHIFT+2 thing definitely suggests a US layout to me.

EDIT: Open FFXIconfig and check your keyboard/gamepad settings

i have a brand new keyboard i tested (my spare for uni) ive tried on uk, us and kroean keyboard configs, and pissed around in the config >.<
