Port forwarding and more..., help please.

I am currently get the internet the a wireless hotspot connection where i live in Iraq. Ive been having problems with the connection to FFXI so i tried to get my ISP to mforward the proper ports or what not so i get a better connection. I pretty much, cut and pasted all the instructions from PORTS settings and problems FAQ

... and here is the response they gave me, which i dont understand.


"I tried this before. The problem is "ports 50000 to 65535". It;s very
unspecific, about 15
thousand ports unspecific and there are alot of other things that run in that
range. All the
other games use 2-6 ports or they provide IP address information so they are
easier to classify.
I couldn't get any IP addresses out of their help desk. If you can find what
class C's (/24's)
they run the servers on I can get this done. I'm sure it's mentioned on a forum
somewhere."

So, i dont know what class C's (/24's) are, con anyone provide me whith a good response for these guys so i can finaly get a steady connection to FFXI?
