hi
when i update i get this Error. Sometimes it takes 30 min when it pops up and sometimes 5 min. Its never on the same spot. Do someone know whats the problem is?

2001 � Hardware TNL not detected � usually means your video card won�t work with FFXI. Get a new one.
2003 � Corrupted gameplay file (probably zone) to fix, uninstall and re-install ffxi
2059 � disconnect during patching � usually caused by virus or spyware � Run housecall.trendmicro.com and adaware from www.lavasoftusa.com
2070 � unknown connect error. No known fix at this time.
2211 - Install LargeISEngineUpdate from http://consumer.installshield.com/utilities.asp
3100 � connection issue, misrouted packets � sometimes experienced by verizon users
3101 � Server issue
3113 - 1. Open Network in Control Panel and select ""Add.""
2. From Network Components, select ""Client"" and then ""Add.""
3. From Network Client, select ""Manufacturer: Microsoft"" and ""Network Client: Microsoft Network Client"" and select ""OK"" to start installing.
4. Restart your PC and run FINAL FANTASY XI.
3203 � server issue
3206 � Server issue
3324 � corrupt zone file. Delete zone and repatch. If that fails, uninstall and reinstall FFXI
3332 � Server down
4001 � UDP ports are being blocked. Change your firewall, or contact your internet service provider to get this fixed.

Hi all,

I been playing fff11 during 7 years. Since 3 months, i get disconnected 2-3x per hour............... POL 2059.......have tried with 2 pc, with or without wireless/firewall/antivirus. Format 1 pc, reinstall...still have the problem.
Playing from switzerland, isp cablecom....

Help :-( !!!!!

-used both addaware, trendmicro, after formating my pc.
still the same problem.

Clearer now that you elaborated on what you have done to try and fix it. It helps to know that, otherwise it is assumed you have done nothing. Are you connected through a router? Check the settings on the router. Also, make sure you don't have any other programs fighting for heavy internet access/bandwidth. Good luck.

Hello thank you for your answer.
My problem is very weird and annoying, it can happen anytime when i'm playing...
DC happens in 1 second, internet connexion seems to be ok. Only connexion to POL is lost. I tried with router, also only with cable.....
I contacted SE helpdesk and my ISP. ISP say of course that they dont block any ports....

Ok, I got it:

It was my isp; they installed some special harware to save some largeband...incredible ...had to change provider after 6 years services!!!
