Need some help with xbox 360 controlelr setup

How woudl I set up my alt and cntrl keys to my shouklder keys onthe controller thanks!

I assume you are talking about the triggers... LT and RT...

I... don't know. But I just got a 360 controller and FFXI today so if I can get it working for those buttons I'll let you know how

Okay it looks like there is a different driver you may want to try. By default, the drivers provided by microsoft only allow the triggers to be recognized as an axis instead of buttons (great for racing games or other pressure-sensitive things, bad for FFXI that only reads button input aside from Menu / Movement / Camera)

Note that I have not personally used these yet, so I cannot attest to how well they work and if they are safe (I'll know soon, about to download them) but I do know that one of the features of these drivers is that they allow the triggers to be used as buttons, which should then let you map them in the FFXI config.
