POL Error - Please Help

Okay, so I recently reinstalled playonline and FFXI, but when I open POL, it gives me this error.
Error code = 20008027
Can only be displayed in 32 bit true color.

Now before that comes up, my screen goes black, then comes back up looking like everything is in safe mode. Then when I hit ok, it goes black again, then comes back to how my computer looks normally.

Now the thing is, my computer's setting is already set in 32 bit color. I don't know what's going on.
