POL Issues

I can log into POL, but when it gets to the screen where you select the game you want to play it does not come up. Eventually it gives me the Pol error 1363. I know this is not the case because I can connect to the internet, and other games seem to work fine online. Any help/suggestions?

I had that problem when I didn't have the lastest update patch installed. Now I'm not calling you an idiot for like not having a patch installed but somtime when there would be a update patch it would say the samething to me about a port not being opened or network not found what I did was just exit out for a while retry and if it still didn't work I restarted my computer. (becuase I left it on all the time) then I tryed it again. it worked most of the time for me.

If your ISP is Optimum Online, that's why. PlayOnline needs port 25 open, and Optimum apparently blocked port 25 to prevent a lot of spam from getting through.

alot has been having the same issue.

Cant log into FFXI , but yet still have internet connection .. can still surf, play other games, etc just NOT FFXI
