I just ordered a GeForce 4 MX 4000 and I was wondering how well that would run ffxi?

First off, let me say that I wish you luck with Verto if you ever need tech support from them.

Now on to the card, I would assume you could get mediocre settings with it. I don't think you will be able to run everything at max without a hit to FPS. But look at some threads about the resolution tweaks and you can find a site that lists stuff you can do to increase performance. Like, for instance, turn off bump mapping, edit registry so mipmapping is lower, ect.

Just mess with it and find what works for you.
