dunno if this is the place to post this but... (crash related)

for the past 3-4 days the game just flat crashes straight to desktop at random (POL doesn't even open) and on occassion it just crashes me like 5s after i log in (like it is now) i've been waitin for the servers to be up ALL day and i can't play cuz the game keeps crashing.

i've tried changing the game settings and such and it won't work. i even reset my comp and i still keep crashing this isn't fair

Thats exactly what is happening to me, First time I installed FFXI and stuff the update retried every 30min and told me connection lost. Then I finaly got it to work. But then I start to DC sometimes, after a while I discovered the check files option and did so. >_< allot of files corrupt or damaged, I go get the files I need froma friend and replace them.

Now after about 4 Months of DCing, checking files, replaceing corrupted files with backupfiles, I am getting sick of it!

I am going through a hub with my internet connection, I wonder if its because of this. I tried various things like switchign my Firewall or anti virus programm changeing resolurion of game.

I am totaly frustrated and all. >_< please help me out!

EDIT: I also crash straight down to desktop if I DC, it closes POL instantly, thus also killing FFXI main window.
