Registration Code not working??

I made this topic in the wrong section before. Maybe I'll get more help here?

I am returning to FFXI, so I installed playonline again and started to reregister because I havn't played for longer than 3 months.

Now my code isn't working, so I can't even do my credit card yet. I tried typing it in 3 times.

What can I do?

i had the same problem, i called the squaresoft ppl and they told me they disable the cdkeys after 3 months of not being in use, and according to what they told me, only way around this is buying the game again

I just went to reactivate my account today after a several month hiatus, had the same exact problems, called up CS and had the same response. I'm sorry, you have to buy the game again.

I can't believe that BS.

I wanted to play the game again but I am sure has hell not going to put up with a setup like that. I play many mmorpgs but only one active on the CC at a time and it is usually several months before I come back around again.

It sucks too because my playonline id is still alive so to speak. When I go to log into it as a guest account it says it is already registered.
