I can't recieve any messages. - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel

I reactivated my account a few weeks ago, and ever since, any messages that I recieved from my friends would not show up in my inbox. It will still say "Message : <friendname>" and flash the little icon. But there is no number next to the message icon, and it tells me I have no new messages either.
